Give a clear name to the room (e.g. Living room, Bedroom, Kitchen) so it can be easily identified in the offer.
The net floor area of the room in square metres. Without wall thickness, only the area actually to be heated. (Min. 3 m², max. 80 m²)
The clear height from floor to ceiling in metres. Higher rooms require more heating power. (2.20 – 4.90 m)
Insulation quality significantly affects heat demand. For new buildings with modern insulation choose “Good”, for standard construction “Medium”, for older poorly insulated buildings “Poor”.
Main heating: the radiator is the only heat source in the room. Supplementary heating: there is already another heating system (e.g. air conditioning, underfloor heating) – in this case the calculated power can be reduced.
The desired comfort temperature. Higher values require more heating power. Typically 20–22 °C for living rooms. (16–26 °C)
How many walls border the outside air (not heated neighbouring rooms or stairwell). More external walls = higher heat loss.
For ground floor and attic we calculate extra heat loss. When bathroom is selected we recommend bathroom radiators.
The orientation of most windows or external walls. Northern orientation needs more heating; southern orientation benefits from solar gain.
If adjacent rooms are heated, heat loss is lower. Next to an unheated basement, storage or stairwell higher power is needed.
Sum of all window glass areas in m² (without frames if possible). Larger window area means higher heat loss. (0 – 25 m²)
Select the desired appliance type. This determines which products we recommend for the calculated heat demand.
Standard: 61–63 cm. Low: 30–40 cm (e.g. under a window). High: 90–130 cm. Height affects the available models.
